The Community College Daily, a publication of the American Association of Community Colleges, published an article about a recent trip to Costa Rica undertaken by President Roger Ramsammy, President Havidán Rodríguez of the University at Albany and others, that aimed to form educational partnerships with the South American country.

The trip also generated media coverage in the Central American country, with several national newspapers interviewing Dr. Ramsammy and covering the visit. Coverage included the following puiblications: El Mundo, Diario Extra, El Periodico CR, La Nación and La Prensa Libre, the oldest continuously circulating newspaper in Costa Rica, founded in 1889.
